Talking about yourself isn’t easy. You have to find the right balance between egocentricity and modesty. Have faith in your words, and don’t embellish them too much…. So, I’m still just an artist.  

With illustration as the body of my practice, I explore ever-expanding horizons. If writing is a need, drawing is a metaphor and the marriage of my two passions. Multidisciplinary, shall we say; customization is another facet I’m particularly attached to. What could be more satisfying than unique designs? Thinking up an infinite number of supports. Thinking about compositions, with no great limits other than our imagination. Letting the design take on other shapes and sizes. And then… Photography. A tool for drawing, a hobby accompanied by text. From taking the picture to developing the film, it’s an art of contemplation. Following the flow of thought, and giving substance to the atmosphere of my entire work. It’s a long process that frees the mind, allowing the appreciation of simple things. It’s a way of apprehending the world. To have no great expectations, the better to appreciate surprises.

Everyday life is a simple thing, needing little to be sublimated. And then there’s the dream. If half our lives are made up of sleep, I like to work on the delicate balance between reality and imagination.
