Fragrances and smells are key to certain memories. When a fade rhythm settles in and becomes part of our daily routine… A simple superposition of factors can create emotion. A sudden torrent of water, elusive silhouettes, the radiance of a building due to lightning, and the scent of rain.
Haste is easily matched by obsession and excitement. It’s an energizing feeling that evaporates as soon as satisfaction arrives. It comes suddenly, takes the form of a loop, and fades away like an hourglass. It’s a powerful moment.
Sometimes we do things out of mimicry, fashion or masochism. Despite the harmful value of certain actions, we take a certain pleasure in hurting ourselves. Often, in fact, we realize how wrong we are when we reach the point of no return. From there, we make new choices. ⸻ What if life were a journey, that one stride to far led to death?
